MAC Singles Day Lipstick Best-Sellers Kit (And Freebies from Lazada 11.11)

As mentioned in my last blog post, I planned on making short individual posts about my make-up related purchases from last 11.11 Shoppee Philippines and Lazada Philippines shopping sale. I’m very happy with all my purchases and I’ve been using my new blush stick from A’Pieu almost everyday. However, this post is about my MAC Singles Day Lipstick Best-Sellers Kit that I bought last 11.11 and the two freebies that was included in that purchase.

My order arrived inside a black box, which was the same with my last purchase from MAC Flagship store at Lazada Philippines. Inside was the MAC Single’s Day Lipsticks which came inside the royal purple ombré box (which is kinda cute), and two freebies — a free MAC Prep + Prime Lip and another tube of MAC Lipstick — MAC Lustre in the shade of Sweetie. This set costs P1650 in Lazada Philippines and is made available only by pre-order, meaning, you need to pay the deposit first during a certain time frame, and then settle the remaining balance on November 11 only.

Similar to the box, the these limited edition lipsticks came in royal purple case, which is obviously different from the usual black lipstick tube.

What makes this MAC Singles Day Lipstick Best-Sellers Kit a great purchase during the 11.11 shopping sale are the freebies included. I’ve been eyeing to buy a MAC Prep + Prime for quite some time but I’m still on the fence whether to spend some money or not. And so, when this deal came in Lazada Philippines, I know I need to buy the MAC Singles Day Lipstick Best-Sellers Kit.

Aside from the MAC Prep + Prime, another freebie is included which was the MAC Lustre in Sweetie. I’m not a fan of Lustre line because I don’t like any shiny/glittery on my face, but we’ll never know when I can use this. Still, it’s a good freebie. It’s a free MAC lipstick!

Mac Retro Matte in Ruby Woo. This shade is very matte, vivid blue-red (cool toned). This lipstick is one of the best-selling lipsticks in the world. I’m not a fan of red lipstick, but I’m loving this shade. Though I’m actively staying away from blue-tone (cool tone) lipsticks since it don’t suit my yellow/warm undertones and have been sticking with neutral tones.

MAC Matte in Chili. MAC Chili is a moderately warm-toned, medium-dark copper with a satin finish. This is my second tube of MAC Chili already. This is very pretty shade and very wearable and… I will probably give this away as a gift.

MAC Matte in Velvet Teddy. Velvet Teddy is a medium, rosy brown with warm undertones and a semi-matte finish. This another very wearable shade that you can wear almost everyday. Also, what I like most about MAC Matte lipsticks are they are not drying compare to most of the matte lipsticks I used before. That’s why I just stick with the MAC lipstick line because it really suits my lips and I don’t have to worry about having dry lips after wearing matte lipsticks for quite some time.

MAC Lustre in Sweetie is a sheer, cool-toned in a light plum/pink shade.  When I opened this tube, the lipstick appears to be sweating (if you refer to the photo above, you’ll notice what I’m talking about). It’s not concerning though, as this is very common especially if there is changes in the temperature.

This is my second online purchase from MAC Cosmetics’ Flagship Store in Lazada Philippines. So far, I love all these deals and the freebies included in every purchase.
