Sephora x Stabilo Felt Eyeliner Review

Last June of 2020, I heard the news about the collaboration between Sephora and Stabilo and I went crazy and honestly I immediately want to get my hands on these new felt eyeliners by Sephora. I confess, I love eyeliners and I am always drawing winged eyeliners in my eyelids because they’re my most favorite thing to do (and it always never fails to make me feel pretty). Back in college, Stabilo highlighters are a constant item in my pencil case and I needed them to highlight some texts in my books and photocopied documents.

So anyway, after a few months I finally bought myself my Sephora x Stabilo felt eyeliner from Sephora Philippines. It is available in four different shades (black, brown, gray and blue) and they are sold for P700. You can only get this felt eyeliner exclusively from Sephora, but I also saw some local Instagram pages that are selling them as well. I only got the black felt eyeliner since I only use black eyeliners and I’m not adventurous enough to paint my eyelids blue or brown, or gray.

Honest opinion: I know tons of reviews out there are raving about this felt eyeliner but my expectations fell flat after I used this. I find it very hard to draw a very thin winged eyeliner because the tip of this felt eyeliner is very thick. And the pen itself is fat and difficult to hold. I struggle a lot using this felt eyeliner. But it’s very black and dries quickly.

Would I buy it again? Definitely not. I received a free KVD Vegan Tattoo Eyeliner from Sephora and I believe I would use this instead of the Sephora X Stabilo felt eyeliner.

I’m quite happy though that I got this. It’s very cute and I will keep this as a reminder that once upon a time, Stabilo collaborated with Sephora to create this cute felt eyeliner.
